Kino Makoto, or Sailor Jupiter, could be considered the most "warriorlike" and tomboyish of the group. She enjoys fighting youmas as well as schoolyard bullies, but has a more tender side as well.One of the most important things to take into consideration about Makoto is her home life. When she was young, Mako's parents died in a plane crash, leaving her to fend for herself in an apartment all her own. Even at the tender age of fourteen, Makoto has learned to take care of herself and be independent. These experiences have toughened her more than any other senshi.
Makoto has developed a talent and enjoyment for cooking, partially because she needed a way to develop a more femine side, as is stated in the anime.
She obviously has an emotional need for guys, although her endless quoting of "he looks just like my old boyfriend" in the anime quickly becomes tiresome.
Makoto tends to hide her feelings most of the time, but her emotions flow strong and deep. Mostly, she knows exactly what needs to be done and then does it.
