In July, I moved domains from Reflections.nu, which I had since 2002, to the current Paperleaves.net. The main precipitator of the move was the fact that the .nu name registrar was charging outrageous amounts of money for renewal, and I have always wanted a .net extension. It's much more normal.

All my sites have been moved, and I updated the domain layout for the first time since...2002. I am thinking about developing my sites somewhat, including a site that lists movie and book recommendations for fans of fiction set in the years 1860-1940, Teatree Graphics Studio, and a professional tutoring site. However, my main online hobby currently is icon making, so my attention is naturally drawn to that.

One other note... I really need to convert the domain layout from html tables into css. My 'education' in css has been very disjointed, so all I really need is one good book and a couple of hours.

I am soooo getting sick of this layout. And it's been such a long time since I've made any kind of a new layout whatsoever. In last year, I've made a couple of new desktops, a smattering of livejournal icons, but that's about it. It's time for a change, and I know what to. But do I have the resolve to do it?

It's a momentous day in the life of Reflections.nu.... 20,000 hits! I've had over 10,000 unique visitors and 15,000 total loads according to my other counter. Let me just say that it makes me happy. But it is kind of sad that the only updates I've really posted on here relate to how many hits I've gotten, and no new material... I have so many ideas and so much interest for this site, but no time to do it.. I've just learned how important some of the other things in life are. You can't spend your life on the computer -- that's not where the living takes place. However, I still feel kind of neglectful of my site... I really should devote more time to it. There may be some changes coming up, however -- I may not be working during July of this year, and I've promised at least two of my friends that I would host or make a site for them. So although my contribution to this domain may not be changing much, there will be some new material here sometime in the future.

Wow, I am soooo excited -- My counter just hit over 10000 hits on the reflections.nu homepage, and I've had over 5700 unique visitors according to my tracker, which has been on my homepage for only about half the time I've had it. Just thought I should record the momentous moment in here~! For the record, Reflections.nu has been in existence since June of 2002, making it about a year and a half old.

Just posting an update to let people know I'm still alive! There's nothing new on the website right now but my websites are still up and running, but, predictably, after school started, I've had zero time to work on reflections.nu, as much as I would like to. I'm kind of contemplating another layout for sometime in the next couple months (ha) and another weblog layout but everything online has kind of been moved to the back burner of my life right now. Wow, my apologies to anyone who's tried to visit my website between July 19th and today.. the entire site has been down due to my server getting hacked and other problems with the webhost -- but everything's fixed now, fortunately. Hopefully that'll never happen again... but anyway, hopefully I'll be able to get in a little work on the website before I go back to school, which is in about two weeks.

Okay, well, most everything is up, except for the guestbook and Lisa's site (I'm working on it! ^^), and I also made a new weblog! Yay yay! It was high time, because although the old layout was nice, it had been up for over a year. All of my other sites have gotten a layout change in the past year, except for that one. So anyway, hopefully I'll have more updates in the near future!
